Cindy

Cindy

Founder

Cindy Rodriguez, the visionary behind Bodyworks of Perdido Key, began her massage therapy career in 2004. She embraced opportunities to learn from all aspects of the healing world, gaining experience with chiropractors, day spas, and military wellness centers abroad. She continuously expanded her bodywork knowledge by specializing in therapies such as Thai Yoga Massage, Orthopedic, Neuromuscular, Aromatherapy, Cupping, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Sarga Silks, and Deep Tissue. However, it was Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage that captured her heart, leading her to complete all advanced training and eventually teach the practice. Those who experienced Cindy’s "sole-ful" practice know the incredible care, attention to detail, and flow she infused into every session. This diverse background shaped her approach to wellness and helped her fully envision what we know today as Bodyworks of Perdido Key. Creating Bodyworks of Perdido Key in 2013 with a single-room massage studio and a powerful dream of bringing wellness to her community. With determination, and a deep commitment to unreasonable hospitality, Cindy nurtured her business from the ground up, building a loyal massage clientele who embraced her vision of healing and compassion. Over time, her dreams of expanding into a full-service spa became a reality as Bodyworks grew to offer not only massage but also skincare and wellness services. As the business grew, Cindy transitioned out of the treatment room to further support her team and nurture the flourishing of Bodyworks. Cindy’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that every guest receives exceptional care is at the heart of Bodyworks of Perdido Key. Her focus on creating meaningful, healing experiences for each guest is reflected in the spa's atmosphere and the outstanding service provided by her dedicated team. Cindy believes that every guest deserves to feel nurtured and supported, and she works continuously to make sure Bodyworks is a place where kindness, care, and holistic wellness are central to the experience. Cindy’s goal has always been to create a space where both her team and guests feel seen, heard, and cared for. She is always eager to learn and stay current with business trends and culture. Her most recent accomplishment was completing her Social Media Marketing Certification with Cornell University, further enhancing her expertise to lead and grow. Through her leadership, the spa has become a place where community, wellness, and kindness come together. Cindy enjoys hiking, and her favorite place in the world is Telluride, Colorado, where she finds a sense of peace and renewal, offering the perfect balance between her busy life as a mother, business owner, and her love for adventure and exploration. She has big dreams of adventure and her ultimate goal is to embark on a hut-to-hut trek through the mountains disconnecting from daily routines, pushing her physical limits, and exploring the diverse terrain of the mountains. With a heart full of love and determination, Bodyworks of Perdido stands as a testament to Cindy's devotion to continue making a positive impact, and contributing to a better, more caring world.
